More Project Types
The Community Power Accelerator now offers a range of distributed solar energy project types that could benefit low-income and disadvantaged communities. New project types include aggregations of behind-the-meter resources (for example, residential rooftop solar and virtual power plants); microgrids; and commercial or industrial solar—in addition to community solar.
Introducing Portfolios
Developers can now add standalone projects or aggregate projects into portfolios. Portfolios allow developers to diversify and de-risk individual projects by creating groupings of projects with different sizes, business models, and geographies. Portfolios are often more attractive for capital providers.
(coming soon...) New Developer Intake and Project Wizard
We created a new wizard for project developers that provides tools, tips and pro-forma support. As developers add projects to the Accelerator marketplace, the site algorithm helps connect those projects to aligned capital partners.
